went to watch movie with hannah this afternoon, hmm she wasn't really in the mood to watch (could tell from her face) and i felt a bit bad cos she could have used the time to do her work. so anyway, we watched Pitch Perfect! honestly, it wasn't that fantastic like what everyone says. hmm, it had a really simple storyline but the covers were not bad. maybe i felt that it was not as good as it seems because i've heard better acapella groups :P well, me and SWWRAAR did a few acapella songs and perhaps i have higher expectations. but still, my first movie for 2012, NOT KIDDING. hahaha everyone says i don't have a life. One acapella group i ABSOLUTELY adore: Straight No Chaser - 12 Days of Christmas, probably their most well known song on YouTube and i love just how they change things up and bring the fun element into the song. Straight No Chaser - Billie Jean/Poison, LOVE this mashup so much and how both songs complements each other perfectly. The bass singer at the start just blows my mind, it's so freaking low!
Straight No Chaser - Stand By Me, one of the most covered songs i believe in acapella but i just love this rendition so much!!
COME TO SINGAPORE ALREADY!
leaving for Indonesia tmr and i haven't packed! can't wait to just eat, shop and sleep! :)
