beginning of school

just barely survived the second day of school. it's getting so much tougher now, and i just have to brace myself to be able to meet these challenges. i feel quite sad knowing that most of my teachers have changed. all my H2 subject teachers have changed and i really miss them. the new teachers are more serious and more focused which is good but the teachers last year could relate to us better. the friendships made with the teachers, just disappeared. for math and chem, i had some time to prepare myself to get over it so it was rather manageable. but.. i can't help but feel just so down. class dynamics have changed to a certain extent. now with the new arrangement of tables, it caused the class to be split up into cliques which i feel that it's not very helpful in bonding the class together. and i feel that this arrangement is better for project work hahaha. without amad and alif, the class is def quieter now. well, i believe that the new teachers will help the class to be better. we've been too slack, so it's time we got down to business. last year was just.. too much fun. the two subjects that i'm the most comfortable with is actually GP and geog which is so ironic because it was the subjects that i didn't really like. now, those are the lessons that i look forward to. give me more time, i'm sure this will change. not only that, there are more changes. i'm now in LT 5 for chem and math, for the right and wrong reason. hahaha it's def weird that i'm in LT 5 for chem cos i never thought it will happen. for math, my class is one of the bottom classes so yeah it's not good. hopefully i will be able to adjust quickly to the new changes. it's just not gonna be the same though.. :/ met up for dinner with luke and emme today at Eighteen Chefs! had a great time with both of them! love them both dearly, but luke is going back to aussie on thurs and we prob won't see him till 2014! but when he comes back we will see him for the next 2 years for army which is not very long if you think about it. can't wait for him to come back when we can finally catch up on everything.. but he told us that he will most probably not be staying in sg for good after he graduates in aus.. i'm devastated. sigh. i shall share some songs that i've been listening to! i mentioned a few posts ago about some acapella groups. so, i shall share more great music!

Lovely song, i adore the raw emotions conveyed by Billy Joel in this song. quite rare to hear this from singers these days, under all the auto-tune and rap, etc.
