i i i. me me me. realised that the society we're living in is always obsessed about I. ME. but we never truly care about the people around us. "you'll lose out" or "why bother" are some responses i've heard from parents. this inner tension in society makes us put up our guard aka our shield all the time. we restrain from telling others our answers for our homework and we would be more happy to let them solve it on their own. i'm glad that such selfish mindset is not found in God's kingdom. as God's children, we encourage each other. pull each other up when one has fallen. think of the benefit of others before ourselves. this is the distinction between God's people and the worldly people! i'm really thankful to have a God that i can lean on 100% and He would be there for me. that's the amazing thing about God. we are told to go into the world and love others even when they are unlovely, to care for our community and be the change in this world of solidarity. while we do our part, God takes care of our needs so we will never be sucked dry of our energy. instead, we will be refueled with God's strength and His love for us! how incredible right? :) if you're facing tough times, know that God has gone ahead of you. He promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, so let's fight together with God. don't concede to temptation by Satan, and let our faith not be wavered. after the downpour, the sun will shine again. press on, and continue TRUSTING in our Creator :) Posted by wen xin at 8:16 PM
