Just knocked off from work, feeling tired but happy today :) Working today made me recall an incident that happened a few months back at YG. All the staff (at that time) were all so sweet, which made my heart warm and fuzzy whee. I remember I had already left the restaurant because school started. But I decided to pay them a visit one day without telling any of them. After successfully giving them a shock, I placed myself in a corner seat just minding my own business and letting them do their work. The next thing I knew, there was a meat sauce carbonara served to me. And yes, that's my favourite spaghetti dish of ALL TIME. I instantly melted. Oh my goodness, how sweet can they be?! I was really touched by the gesture and oh how thankful I was that they remembered and even bothered to go the extra mile to cook for me! :) When my kitchen manager asked me what I wanted to eat because he'll cook for me, the same feeling came back. My heart is brimming with gratitude for these kind people around who cares for me. All I needed to say was my favourite dish, and he instantly knew. How would he remember after I left for about 4 months and with so many part timers in the kitchen coming in and leaving the restaurant?! I don't know, but it's people like this that makes me work harder to show love to others. I'm really so grateful, thank you Lord. Posted by wen xin at 12:11 AM
