Reading the news these past few days left me rather downcast. The recent terrorist attacks in France and the passing of same-sex marriage law in the US.. everything is happening so fast we can hardly catch our breath to take it all in. Tension, anxiety and paranoia trails us as we lead our daily lives. Seeing all the violence happening, a quote comes to mind that my lecturer mentioned last term: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein Albert Einstein is saying that when World War III ends, the world will be so destroyed to the point that the remains from the war would merely be sticks and stones. Not surprising, because we have nuclear weapons, hydrogen bombs existing and much more today... Praying that God will reveal Himself more in the midst of this chaotic circumstance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On another note, Had such a packed week and I'm just so happy to have the afternoon to myself :) I've been eating so much, like seriously a lot. But always so thankful that I get to eat yummy food that my colleagues and manager make for me. FAT DIE ME but so blessed indeed! Hoping I can kick start my studies real soon to prepare for the start of school again. Time to pull up my socks and change my attitude. There's no time to lose.
