Although sg's ranking in terms of corruption is currently 7th (lowest it has ever been), but it's still something to be #thankful for. Check this out, a star pupil in Egypt who scored zero for all seven exams she took. She dreamt of going to medical school, and POOF her dream is gone in a second. Really devastating to hear. http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-34151528 I try to set aside time everyday to read news online, and this just makes me so #thankful for where I am. I know I sound super patriotic, but I just can't help but say I love my country so much. At least we are not running away from civil war in Syria and have to find a better place in Europe (although not a bad thing though I LOVE europe). We don't have to worry about shootings happening in sg, or us being in lack (food, shelter, basic living). Generally, I get a sense that Singaporeans feel that we are entitled to everything in the world. This sense of entitlement needs to go. Don't be a spoiled brat and demand for everything you want without working for it. Everything comes at a cost, and don't expect to get result without lifting a finger. Count your blessings, and be #thankful! #1: Thankful for where I am, in a university and I have a chance to make it in life. I must build the drive and grit in me to compete with others.
