The good ol' days
Thursday, December 17, 2015
Reminiscing the good ol' days with da bro and dad at the dinner table tonight. The hilarious episodes in each of our lives with our parents... I died. It's really too funny man.
One time, my mum asked me to pass something to my bro in church, which ended with me taking a bus back home on my own cos I thought I saw my mum boarded the bus (but nope she was trailing me from a distance behind). Ok so here's how it all started. I specifically told my mum "Wait here for me ok (which was the bus stop)." So I got up and took off to find my bro. Who would have thought my mum was following me. Ok perhaps everyone except me. By the time I reached back to the bus stop, my mum wasn't there but a 293 bus was. My first thought - "Oh. She must have gone up." So I did. As my mum turned the corner, POOF I was gone. And BAM here comes the drama. Everyone thought I got kidnapped and my dad got so anxious he wanted to file a police report. At that time, I think I was only K1. So anyway, I got up the bus and sat down beside a stranger. Somehow, I remembered where to alight so I alighted. See I go church regularly one hor I know how to go back hahaaha and walked to my neighbour's house. Then, that's when I started crying since I couldn't find my mum (LOL whut, like what's wrong with me). Meanwhile, my parents were still looking for me, running everywhere until they reached home and realised I was just there at my neighbour's house hahaha. Thinking back, I was pretty smart to go home by myself don't you think? But oops, didn't mean it. It was an honest mistake :(
Or another time when my Mum's entire extended family was in Australia. And somehow I fainted in the car whilst playing with a coin. My dad got so worried he thought I swallowed the coin so he took me out of the car and lifted me upside down trying to get the coin out of my throat. He was shaking and jolting me while we were all in front of a public mall with lots of people. He was shaking me so hard and the angmohs nearby were like, "hey what's going on man?" But the truth is, I didn't swallow the coin. I merely fainted cos I weak la huh. HAHAHA until today, I don't know where the coin went. It's still a mystery.
Classic stories man oh my goodness. I love my parents, they're the best.
